Vuvuzela is the first original project to rise from the ashes of Kiss Kiss, as the rest of members joined forces with previous tourmates: Damiera, The Gay Blades The Venetia Fair, The World/Inferno Friendship Society).

These guys are a group of music students who settled in Albany, NY and are on the up and up! Their music is definitely indie rock, but it’s got some delicious jazzy swirls and a light pop coating. Highly addictive!

Hey Kids,
We’re working hard on preproduction and finishing the last tracks for our first album. We’re trying to figure out where we’re going to record this and there are some exciting options but nothing definite so far. We are finally playing another show with our great friends Average Girl in March at Rodrigue’s coffee house @ the Rose Hill Campus of Fordham on March 4th. Very excited.
On another note, Brendan and I have started a blog for a visual/auditory collective which we’re calling The Hudson River School. It’s a place for our friends to post what they’re working on in all mediums (print, music, film, etc.) and we’ll be posting old mix-tapes of years worth of garage recordings we have on tape. It’s about damn time we sort through all that music. I am super excited about it. Check it out here:

Take Care.
