Vuvuzela needs your preorder! They have raised 70% toward the costs of recording their debut EP. If 100%+ isn’t pledged in 61 hours- then the group will receive NOTHING (as per Kickstarter’s system).
Vuvuzela is the first original project to rise from the ashes of Kiss Kiss, as the rest of members joined forces with previous tourmates: Damiera, The Gay Blades The Venetia Fair, The World/Inferno Friendship Society).
Please support this unique DIY musical project.
Vuvuzela has 5 days left to raise the funding for their debut release! Watch the video to get a feel for the project, and help them out!
This has been so amazing everyone! I’m really looking forward to Saturday’s shoot. The only issue I have is narrowing down my list of songs. I have 35 at the moment! I guess we’ll see what happens…. Anyway, thank you all so much for helping me to not only make this dream a reality, but proving to me that there is a real future in this for me and for my family. THANK YOU!!!!
Much Love, - Joey

Shameless promotion, I know. But do check us out, we’re rounding the bend towards the finish line making this record and we couldn’t be prouder of the music we’re making.
When The Road Darkens was recorded at Applehead Recording and Production, was produced by Michael Birnbaum & Chris Bittner, and features Daniel Grimsland of theband3 on bass. Preorder your copy of the album via the Kickstarter!
Joey has begun raising funds to make this DVD recording possible! There’s a video up on the kickstarter page of Joey performing two songs and explaining what he’s collecting the money for.

Alternative Press:
It was just about a decade ago when JOSH EPPARD rose to fame alongside his friends from Kingston, New York, as the original drummer for COHEED AND CAMBRIA. As the band began receiving notoriety for their experimental epic rock, Eppard released a hip-hop album under the name WEERD SCIENCE—the moniker he had been using as an emcee since he was a teenager. But struggles with drug addiction pushed Eppard out of Coheed and away from music for years before finally joining up with Fred Mascherino and Andy Jackson in TERRIBLE THINGS. Now nearly two years sober, Eppard has joined up with likeminded MC LARS to finally release the follow-up to Weerd Science’s 2005 debut, Friends & Nervous Breakdowns. Sick Kids will finally be released May 17 on MC Lars’ label, Horris Records, and in this exclusive interview, MC Lars finds out exactly what took so long. Wanna pitch in? You can help out Weerd Science by donating to the just-launched Kickstarter page.
