Emily Long “Dirty Face” Artwork Cover by Sophie C’est la Vie
I drew this artwork for artist Emily Long based out of NYC for her album cover. Check her out here . She has her album for sale as well as t-shirts with the hands-tied design on it.
clip from Coheed and Cambria’s midnight album release show at Crash Mansion in New York City for their Columbia debut, “Good Apollo, I’m Burning Star IV, Volume I: From Fear Through The Eyes of Madness” on September 20th, 2005. IscariotMoon of Cobalt and Calcium recorded the entire set on his digital camera, and posted it to share with those who could not make it.
Earlier that day the band had done a signing and acoustic performance out on Long Island at Looney Tunes. It was a long day, but the band didn’t show any signs of slowing down. The animated shorts (which were originally aired on MTV) looped on the screens around the venue. The love at Crash Mansion was so widespread that the crowd sat on the floor for this very special, highly intimate performance!
Coheed and Cambria (which was Claudio Sanchez, Travis Stever, Mic Todd, and Josh Eppard) performed:
1. “Welcome Home”
2. “A Favor House Atlantic”
3. “Wake Up”
4. “Final Cut” (the very first live attempt at performing this song full-band acoustic)

Co&Ca 2001-2011. In celebration of our 10th anniversary: An Evening With Coheed and Cambria. Spring 2011. Full dates and details will be announced Monday, January 10th at 1pm EST.
In 2005 Coheed and Cambria performed 4 “Evening With” shows at intimate venues. It all kicked off in Chicago, Illinois on July 3rd at Metro. The second was July 10th at Avalon in Hollywood, California. The third “An Evening With Coheed and Cambria” concert was on July 22nd at Irving Plaza in New York City. Finally there was one in Orlando, Florida at Hard Rock Cafe on August 9th, 2005.
New York City sold out in under a minute. Cobalt and Calcium got a hold of a pair of tickets and in turn held a “scavenger hunt” contest giving members an opportunity to attend the epic event. The evening was so intimate that there wasn’t even a barricade between the stage and the audience! New York’s K-Rock 2 recorded the set and aired it on their streaming radio station. The Hollywood show was also recorded and several of the songs were included on the bonus EP contained in Good Apollo I’m Burning Star IV, Vol. 1: From Fear Through The Eyes of Madness when purchased from Best Buy. The Orlando performance was a shorter set and aired on MTV’s Nokia Live: Hard Rock Cafe on November 23rd, 2005.
During these shows Coheed and Cambria performed “Final Cut” for the first time in the United States. They also performed “2113” for the first time, anywhere. Additionally it was the first time many got a taste of the hit single, “Welcome Home” (which was tentatively titled “Kashmire” for its similarity to Led Zeppelin’s classic, “Kashmir”). In Orlando, Coheed and Cambria performed ”Apollo I: The Writing Writer” for the second time (the first was 3 days prior at the free Central Park Summerstage concert in NYC).
The Evening With… shows were especially memorable due to the fact that there were absolutely no opening bands. The shows were just Coheed and Cambria, starting the night off with a 5 song acoustic set (4 in Orlando) and finishing off with a 12 song set (6 in Orlando).
It looks like this announcement means that Coheed and Cambria will stop at several cities to perform their debut record, Second Stage Turbine Blade, along with current drummer- Chris Pennie. One date has already been announced… April 30th, 2011 at the House of Blues in Chicago, Illinois.
Travelinbeat bootlegged the NYC Evening With concert to share with those who could not attend. The sets may be downloaded here.

Terrible Things made a pitstop in New York City during the start of their record release cycle of in-store performances and signings. Even though Andy Jackson was on strict orders from the doctor not to sing, or even talk for that matter, he, as well as Fred Mascherino, were kind enough to take take part in a session with PropertyOfZack. Terrible Things just released their debut album this past Tuesday, so be sure to pick it up and check out Fred and Andy performing “Revolution” below in P.Diddy’s white room!
