Terrible Things have unfortunately had to drop off of their current tour with Streetlight Manifesto and A Loss For Words. The band will keep their March tour and Warped Tour spots however. Check out a message from the band below:
We’re heading home from our tour. Although it was a tough decision, some personal issues and setbacks we suffered early in the tour made our minds up last night. Our apologies to all of you coming out. We’ll find a way to make it up to you. We’re still looking forward to other shows in March and we’ll be touring again this summer for Warped.

Weerd Science - “The Spawn of Lies Spun”
Reblog via theneesh:
On holiday break after a steady year of recording, touring, releasing, and touring some more with Universal-Motown’s Terrible Things, Weerd Science hopped on twitter and proclaimed that he NEEDED to record some hip-hop. Josh explained that his DJ, Dirty Ern, also fell into some free time and so the two walled-up in Dirty’s basement apartment to bring an old concept to life. He kept followers updated as he wrote and recorded 2 new songs right on the spot, which they posted up for free download immediately. They refer to the session as, “Weekend At Dirty’s” and warned that it will happen again.
The two songs, “Plague Days” and “The Spawn of Lies Spun” are up on http://weerdscience.bandcamp.com/

COHEED AND CAMBRIA ANNOUNCE “NEVERENDER: SECOND STAGE TURBINE BLADE - AN EVENING WITH COHEED AND CAMBRIA” TOUR
DATES SET TO COMMEMORATE 10-YEAR ANNIVERSARY AS A BAND
Coheed and Cambria today gave full details about their plans this spring to perform their debut album, The Second Stage Turbine Blade, in it is entirety in 22 cities across the US and in Toronto, Canada. The “Evening with” format will also feature a rare 30-40 minute acoustic set, as well as an extra set of songs from other albums.
In 2001, Coheed and Cambria solidified their lineup and began playing shows as a band. They also started work in singer/guitarist Claudio Sanchez’s bedroom on what would become their groundbreaking debut album on Equal Vision Records. In the ten years since, the band have released five studio albums, three live DVDs, and established themselves as one of the world’s great rock bands with one of the fiercest followings known in any genre.
One of the DVDs was the monstrous box-set Neverender, which documented the band’s four-night-stand at Terminal 5 in New York City in October 2008, where the band played all four of their albums over four nights to 10,000 fans.
“Neverender was such a big event for us and our fans and we constantly get requests to do it again,” said Sanchez. “So we felt since it was our 10-year anniversary we’d create an event with that in mind, but a little different, and first and foremost to be able to take it to more cities, rather than just the top two or three in the US.”
Tickets go on sale this Friday, January 14th in most cities. Go to www.facebook.com/coheedandcambria for specific ticket information.
